In La Clemenza di Tito by Mozart, Servilia is the younger sister of Sesto, a Roman patrician. She is loved by Emperor Tito (Titus) but is in love with Annio, a friend of Sesto. When Tito considers marrying her, Servilia honestly confesses her love for Annio, displaying her integrity and loyalty. Tito admires her honesty and ultimately grants his blessing for their union. Servilia’s character highlights themes of truthfulness and moral strength in the opera.
